This exquisite mangle, crafted in Europe in the early 1900s, is a testament to enduring craftsmanship. Originally used as a wringer washer, some of these machines are still in use today. This piece was transformed into a beautiful lighted wine rack. The rack weighs over 125 pounds and features a beautifully refinished live edge oak wood, believed to be 3 inches thick. The mangle itself is made of cast iron, ensuring durability and a timeless aesthetic.
The mangle includes a functional drawer, though it can be a bit tricky to replace once removed. The dimensions are impressive: standing at 59 inches tall, 51 inches wide, and 32 inches deep. Adding a modern touch, the mangle is equipped with multi-color lighting controlled by a remote, which should be pointed at the drawer for operation.
A unique feature of this piece is the natural heart shape in the wood, which was the reason Mike selected it for St. Jude.
