We invite you to join us for The Final TomorrowNite Gala benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Guests will enjoy a large silent auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, dancing and the opportunity to hear the story of a St. Jude patient.
This celebration is one of Boston’s most exclusive events, unifying the city’s private and public sector leadership in their commitment to help St. Jude fight childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Your generosity allows St. Jude to continue providing lifesaving research and treatment for children across the country and around the world.
An estimated 16,000 children and teens are diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year. And while those statistics are staggering, we must remember how far we have come. Since the founding of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 1962, the overall survival rate of childhood cancers has risen from 20% to 80%.
The impact of St. Jude goes so much farther than New England, Memphis, and even the United States. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is committed to a global effort because the lives of too many children are cut short by cancer. We cannot tolerate a world in which some children have access to world-class treatment while others do not survive simply because of where they live. St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, so every success at St. Jude is a success for children with pediatric cancer all over the world.
In the United States, more than 4 out of 5 children survive cancer. But in many developing countries, this statistic is the opposite where fewer than 1 out of 5 children diagnosed with cancer will live. This is unacceptable and why St. Jude is committed to sharing its research and knowledge globally; to help improve the quality of life for children and their families everywhere.
In the words of our founder, Danny Thomas, “No child should die in the dawn of life.” We hope that you will take a moment to reflect on the fact that it is your support and commitment to St. Jude that fuels our important and ambitious mission, Finding cures. Saving children.®️ Everywhere.
